Jeffrey Walker holds degrees in organ performance from the Oberlin College Conservatory and the Eastman School of Music. He is a past winner of the prestigious American Guild of Organists National Competition, and has concertized extensively.
After a six-year tenure at St. David's (Radnor) Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Mr. Walker served for 18 years at the First Presbyterian Church of Flint, where he administered a program of multiple children's, youth, adult, and handbell choirs, and a concert series.
Four years ago he left full-time music ministry to diversify his professional activities. He is currently Organist/Choirmaster at Christ Episcopal Church in Detroit where he directs a semi-professional parish choir, Conductor of the University of Windsor Choir, Chorusmaster of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and Instructor of Organ and Harpsichord at the Flint School of Performing Arts. He performs frequently in the Flint Symphony Orchestra and maintains a busy schedule as a piano, organ, and harpsichord tuner/technician.
